When I was a kid, I loved the Ramona books by Beverly Cleary and I was a huge fan of Maud Hart Lovelace's Betsy-Tacy series. As a teen, I jumped right into my parents' bookshelves and began reading horror by Thomas Tryon and nonfiction crime novels. I always have a book and now I love my Kindle because I can carry so many books with me!\n\nI find inspiration in science fiction and fantasy, contemporary YA and adult mystery-thrillers. I love horror and steampunk and I find spec fiction fascinating. My recommendations to readers will be a wide range of titles, from classics like Steinbeck and Kafka to current authors in all genres. I love being a cheerleader for other authors, especially those that aren't so well-known.
